Eliminate banding, streaking, ink drops on the photo, incorrect colors in your images, restore your capping station that seals the printhead from the outside air to prevent printheads from plugging.
Don't make the mistake of using ammonia (Windex) or alcohol based liquids on your printhead. Alcohol is a drying agent and will only create a bigger problem as you initially try to clean the printhead, the harder older deposits are hardened as the loose surface particles are swept away causing the problem to get worse. If you have soft rubber lines that run from the cartridges to the printhead you will cause the rubber lines to become stiff and brittle.
Ammonia will cause a breakdown of the printhead electronic components leading to printhead failure.
Use Nitro Print Head cleaner. This is the same product used by the large printer manufacturer service departments to restore printheads.
Nitro Printer Cleaner is a powerful surfinidal chemical that breaks down the cement like ink deposits that accumulate around the Inkjet printer nozzles. The deposition of these microscopic particles eventually seal off the nozzles that produce banding.
Nitro Printer Cleaner will soften and dissolve these deposits and will allow the printer to print beautiful images again.
Nitro Printer Cleaner is also well suited for purging the print head lines as well as the head itself allowing you to switch from one ink to another.
Nitro Print Head Cleaner is designed to work with dyes, pigments, high resinous pigments, IE. Epson Ultrachrome, food grade caketop publishing inks and sublimation inks. This is not a cheap import but manufactured by the same company that Epson purchases their cleaner from here in the USA.
It can be used in a host of different ways. Apply to the printers capping (docking) station until moistened without flooding the station and return the head back to the capping station and let it sit 24 hours. It can also be injected into an ink cartridge and doing 1 – 2 cleaning cycles a per 24 hour time period recover dirty nozzles.
Adding 5% to 10%
Nitro Print Head Cleaner to your ink will make a phenomenal difference to overcoming nozzles that chronically plug. There will be no noticeable difference in the outcome of your photograph if you add 5%. For normal day to day printing black and white documents you can add up to 20% Nitro Cleaner. The only ink that you cannot dilute is sublimation ink.
Nitro Print Head Cleaner works with all Epson, Canon, HP, Lexmark, Kodak, Brother, and Dell water based ink printers. It will not work with Solvent based inks used in the garment industry.
