Antique Jet Studded Hair Comb Victorian Era

Description

This is a wonderful hair comb made of a black painted metal top that is studded with faceted jet beads.  The bottom appears to be a deep brown celluloid plastic.  The comb has seven prongs and is attached to the top part with two brass pins.  It measures 5 3/8” in height and 2 3/4” in width at its widest.  It is in very good condition except for one small bead missing on the top left edge, visible in the photos.  This is not that noticeable under normal viewing and probably could be replaced by a jeweler.
This is a lovely Victorian or Edwardian hair accessory....
