These parts will work on the "SX" engine which is the HP Laserjet II, 2, IID, 2D,III, 3 and IIID, 3D printers. (Not 2p/3p)
If your printer is misfeeding and having printer jams from the paper tray or in the exit area of the printer, now is the time to do the repair which with the instructional video takes about 1 hour to do.
If you own a Laserjet III (LJ II, IID, IIID) series printer eventually you start having those pesky paper jams, that occur in a paper tray or internally during pickup. It might start to feed or not feed at all.
The bottom line is over time the roller gets slick and the separation pad wears down. This kit will give you your printer back without killing your wallet! Expect to pay at least 150 dollars more than what this kit costs if you take it to a repair shop!
Anyone with basic handtool skills using needlenose pliers, and flatblade/phillips screwdrivers can do this repair!
To do a quick check of the roller, remove the tray and observe the roller. Is it shiny? Feel hard and slick instead of soft rubber? Check the fuser roller, if its mushy, melted or hard shiny it's worn out.

The included video is for the Laserjet 3. If you have a Laserjet 2, 2D or 3D the parts will work but the cover removal is not on the cd, but the service manual shows you how to remove the covers.
My goal is to get your printer working like it should and eliminate the frustration of poorly written instructions.
The video eliminates mistakes in the manual and lets you see before you do the work. A service manual is included with the purchase for future troubleshooting.
The video cd is in WMV (Windows Media Format) format and is broken up into short chapters so you do 1 repair procedure at a time.
The video CD is in clear english and will play on media player, real player and VLC player. Windows PC's as well as Mac OSX and earlier play this format with no trouble.
