  • Condition: We have seen these altered jackets described as WW1 era women's jackets- possibly for nurses-and also as surplus jackets that were altered in the 1930s for the CCC. This seems like a Men's jacket but we've seen them identified as Women's in other listings and one reference book.There are a lot of moth holes and craters (see photos). The epaulettes on the shoulders have been removed. There is writing on the right cuff and on the inside of the lapel.

    WWI US Army Tunic

    We have seen these altered jackets described as WW1 era women's jackets- possibly for nurses-and also as surplus jackets that were altered in the 1930s for the CCC. This buttons on the right, like a Men's jacket but we've seen them identified as Women's in other listings and one reference book. There are a lot of moth holes and craters (see photos).
    The epaulettes on the shoulders have been removed.
    There is writing on the right cuff and on the inside of the lapel.
