Metallica Ride the Lightning VINTAGE 1984 denim jacket back patch UNUSED!

Metallica Back Patch. 12" by 14" at the top (10" at the bottom).
Back says Made in England, although that is probably not true- a smoke screen, so to say. One of the first Metallica back patches, made around 1984-1987 I think. It tapers from 12 inches across at the top to 10 inches at the bottom, an is almost 14" in length.
GUARANTEED VINTAGE, IN MINT UNUSED CONDITION! I've seen some "vintage" ones in crap shape sell for much more than we are asking.
I've had these stored away for decades.They were left over from my old store in New Brunswick, NJ.
Compare the art to others available- this is THE REAL DEAL.
Fun fact- we used to sell pins and patches to Jon and Marsha (RIP) when they ran a stand at the Rt.18 flea market, East Brunswick NJ in the early '80's.
They formed MEGAFORCE RECORDS at this time, while still maintaining the stand.
Around 1983 (?), my then-partner Doug had the chance to buy the rights to produce the first commercial poster for a MEGAFORCE RECORDS band. Metallica was an option...
Unfortunately, he chose to do a poster of RAVEN, another Megaforce band (still active today), that was headlining over Metallica at the time.
Demand was close to non-existent- I think almost all of the 5,000 posters printed ended up in the dumpster.
