    Description

    Disclaimer:
In no way am I claiming to be an expert in anything.  Please read the description provided and the images to confirm what you are certain of.  I do appreciate added information related to items I have listed.
Please excuse any glare in the photos.  All photos were taken outside in the sunlight.  Both pieces are original and are being presented in the condition they were found.  Each has a fabric tag with numbers stapled to them.  I believe these are early dry cleaning tags but just in case, they have been left alone.
Jacket:  The outer material is a textured wool (short and rough).  The inside sleeves are lined with a khaki colored cotton and the inside body is lined with a brown colored cotton.  A name of H Keeler has been written on the inner brown material (right side) around the chest area.  MT. Co. 381 is below this.  The jacket has five buttons closing the placket to the upright collar.  All have the same eagle detail.  There is a brass hook and eye closure at the neck.  The bottom of the jacket has two brass hooks closing the bottom to heavy thread loops.  Four flap-top pockets are on the front, each with a smaller version of the eagle buttons closing the placket.  These buttons also secure the fabric tabs running across the shoulders.  The left sleeve has three patches and the right has one.  All patches are different.  The jacket has tailored seaming throughout the body.
Jacket Measurements: All measurements were taken while the jacket was lying flat.  Length 26.50" from the back of the neck.  Chest: 40.00" (20" from side to side) armpit to armpit seam.  Waist: 36.00" (18" from side to side).  Sleeve length is 24.00" from the seam where the shoulder meets the sleeve to the edge.
Jacket Damage:  Overall I feel this jacket is in really great condition for the age. There are holes in the wool and the cotton lining.  There are three small holes right above the blue patch on the arm.  Two small holes are in the wool of the flap of the lower left pocket.  One large hole is in the outer portion of the lower left pocket (does not go through to the inside wool.  There is one hole at the center of the back that has been mended.  The neck of the jacket has wear to the edges, the wool has separated at the right side, there are two medium sized holes in the lining (possibly from pins), and there is discoloration to the brown lining (see picture 12). The inside brown lining has a medium sized hole around the area of the left lower shoulder and there is a worn spot about the size of a quarter in the area of the right shoulder blade.
Pants:  H. Keeler MT Co. 381 is written along the inside waistband.  Same wool material as the jacket.  There is no lining.  The and inside waist are from a beige colored heavy cotton.  There are six belt loops.  Five buttons close up the front; the top button is not hidden when worn.  Five pockets total.  Legs taper and are reinforced at the knees.  The bottom of the legs lace up the outside.
Pant Measurements:  All measurements were taken with the pants lying flat.  Waist is 30.00" (15.00" side to side) taken at the very top.  Hips are 42.00" (21.00" side to side) taken side to side in line with the bottom of the button front.  The outer leg, from the waist to the bottom, is 35.00" while the inner leg is 23.00".
Pant Damage:  Overall the condition is similar to the jacket.  The laces are frayed but three of the original four metal ends are still present.  The pants are mended at the left upper thigh (nicely done).  There is a small hole and small mend at the front inner right thigh.  The stitching has come undone where the 'knee patch' is, at the top inside seam (see picture 12).  It is no more than 1.00" in length.  There is a large hole, about the size of a dime, above the left back pocket.  There is also a small hole at the lower right buttocks.
Shipping is included in the auction's price to locations in the United States.  International interest is appreciated and accepted, however shipping costs to international locations will be in addition to the auction's closing price.  If you have questions please ask them at least 24 hours prior to the auction's close.
A note about 'vintage' or 'antique' pieces: they are to be considered preowned.  Evidence of some use and/or age should be expected, but damage WILL BE described and photographed.

Invoices are automatically sent after the close of an auction with what 'should' include the cost of shipping.  The Ebay shipping calculator does NOT take into account priority mail
    Flat Rate

, unless specified by the seller.  It is important to me that winners are only charged the actual cost of shipping and/or insurance, especially if I have stated a specific cost in my listing.
Please do not hesitate to message me if you think an Ebay invoice is incorrect or even if you would like me to double check shipping costs to your location.
Often I cannot determine and actual shipping cost until I receive a buyer's zip code and consider the size of the box necessary for safe shipping.  Combined shipping can also save you money.  Your satisfaction with the item and how it gets to you is a priority.

    Return Policy:
Of course I do this to earn a buck or two, but I am not in this to rip people off.  I do everything possible to be transparent when listing items.  I do accept returns on the condition that I made an egregious error in the listing and misrepresented the item.  Please be a responsible bidder and review the listing in its entirety and ask questions prior to bidding.  Enjoy your day!
