    Description

WW1 EM Tunic w/Patches and Insignia
Original WW1 US Army enlisted winter service tunic, brownish-OD green wool with brownish-khaki cotton lining and all buttons are intact. Features the following insignia: [1] US/1 collar disc on right side of collar; [2] Large US 1st Army Engineer Headquarters Battalion patch consisting of black wool A and red/white wool composite checkerboard insert between legs, hand sewn on left shoulder; [3] Discharge stripe sewn on left sleeve; [4] Brass bullion overseas stripe at left cuff; [5] Wool on wool Corporal chevron on right sleeve. Appears to be approx. size 36-38 Regular. Has 1917 dated QM label sewn under lining at lower left front. Tunic has the usual minor moth nips [the two most visible being on left chest pocket as can be seen in photos], and disc is missing from left collar, but still displays well. No damage to the 1st Army patch. No names, service numbers, or other identification inside. Tunic is exactly as it was found and is in very good condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
